Whitewing shook herself from the bad sleep last night. She woke the three kits, "Come on you three, time for the tour." Windkit woke up and bounded to the entrance of the den. Gingerkit followed, but made it there before him. Both their heart were racing excitedly. They couldn't wait to see the camp without escaping.

Eaglekit slowly made his way there, their little high moon wake up didn't help his sleep. He stopped half way to the exit to whip the sleep from his eyes, then quickly got to his paws pouncing his sister. "Let's go!"

Gingerkit hissed at Eaglekit. She walked to where Whitewing was. "Come on you three," she said. She trotted to where some apprentices were practicing outside their den. Then they went to the warrior's den, some were still sleeping, while others were sharing tongues. Whitewing was talking all the way and telling them everything she knew. "Ok," she said when they were done, "let's head on back and catch up on our sleep." She picked up Gingerkit by the scruff, who was about to fall asleep. Windkit bounded back to the den and was settled and asleep by the time the others came.

Eaglekit was amazed about everything that went on in the camp, it was so alive! He didn't want to go back but sadly he knew he had too. The young kit's eyes scattered everywhere, looking at every possible thing, staying close behind his mother. As he padded back into the camp he jumped high, digging his claws deep into the ground as he landed. Almost getting his talon like claws stuck. "Our clan is amazing!"

Gingerkit fell asleep to rest, and Windkit the same. "Yes it is quite a wonderful place," she answered Eaglekit when the two were asleep. "Now, you rest too, I know you're tough, but I also know you're tired, " she pushed him softly with her muzzle, "Sleep young warrior." She laid her head on her paws and closed her eyes.

Eaglekit didn't want to sleep but he didn't want to disobey his mother. So he laid next to her and his siblings and slowly closing his eyes. "I'll be great mom, just you see," Eaglekit mewed so softly that you could barely hear him.

When they were done sleeping, Whitewing stretched and slowly padded out of the nursery as the kits still slept. He went to the fresh kill pile and grabbed a mouse. She brought it back to her den and laid down again, eating it slowly. Gingerkit woke up and said, "Hi mother." Windkit moved in his sleep, then opened his eyes, "I liked that sleep," he joked before stretching and getting up.

Eaglekit looked like a dead rabbit, and you would have thought of him so if you did notice his belly slowly moving up and down in the speed of this mother's heart beat. Not even a wild bear could wake this young kit, he was dreaming. And what a dream it was! He was dreaming that he was chasing rabbits and voles and mice all along the forest floor. His small paws whipped through the air as he "chased" after all the juicy prey.
Deadstar creped into the den with a smile across his muzzle. "Sleep well Whitewing?" He asked with a deep purr in the back of his throat, giving his mate a gentle lick between her ears.

((Hey, sorry I wasn't on, I lost the address to the site.))
Windkit was soaring along the side of the lake. His heart was flying as he let the wind carry him farther along the shore. He ran and ran, all the smells of prey in the air. Water dancing on the shore, wind bringing him anywhere, he loved it. Gingerkit saw among small brambles. She was stuck! She pulled and pulled but couldn't get out, she tried harder, it wouldn't let go, she had to choose wrench her fur off to be free, or to stay and die. She tried to ignore the choices that sprang into her mind so suddenly. Make your choice, said a voice. Gingerkit yowled, "Help me! Help me!"
"Yes," said Whitewing, "it was quite relaxing." She got up and stretched, the three kits laid softly on the ground, snoozing quietly. Gingerkit was hot though, Whitewing walked over to her when she saw. She was thrashing, and she looked like she was trying to escape something. Whitewing sat next to her. She put her paw gently on Gingerkit, "Gingerkit, wake up."
Gingerkit was still thrashing, Gingerkit, Gingerkit, choose. "I can't!" She thrashed harder. She suddenly opened her eyes. "I can't, I . . . . " Whitewing and Deadstar looked at her like she was mad. She suddenly let out a big sigh and laid back down. "Gingerkit, are you ok?" asked Whitewing, running her rough tongue along her fur to calm her down. Gingerkit nodded and closed her eyes for a second.

Deadstar looked down on Gingerkit with worry in his eyes, what bothered her so much that it harmed her in her dreams. Or was it a dream from StarClan? Deadstar groomed the young kit with Whitewing, he was shocked to know how hot she was. She was burning! "Gingerkit are you alright?"

Gingerkit was awake now. She was haking a bit, "Ya, uh, ffiiiinnne," she said the last word shaking. Gingerkit shook, Whitewing had worry all over her, "Gingerkit, come here," she nuzzled her young daughter to her belly where it was warm. It felt a lot more better than what her dream felt like, cold metallic cold. Though she looked hot, Whitewing could sense she was cold.

"She's faking it!" Eaglekit squeaked in dismay, "she just wants to be the center of attention!" he added jumping on his mother's back. "Stop it Eaglekit," Deadstar spat. Eaglekit stepped down off his mother and retreated to the far corner of the den. "What has gotten into you?" His father questioned. Deadstar curled up with his mate and kin trying to warm the shaking kit. "There, there Gingerkit you'll be okay," he assured her.

Windkit looked confused around the den, then looked at Eaglekit and Gingerkit. Whitewing comforted GIngerkit and soon she was calm and stopped shaking, though she was still scared. "Are you ok Gingerkit?" she asked. "Ya," answered Gingerkit. Windkit watched from the back and shrugged, still confused.

Deadstar shook his head, "maybe we should bring her to see Blackdream." The ThunderClan leader was not in any mood to lose a cat, and for that matter his own kin. "But dad!" Eaglekit whined, "she's faking it!" He squeaked batting at his sister's ears. Deadstar was so displeased with his son that he did not say a word but grabbed him by the scruff and flung Eaglekit to the side.
Ashpelt padded into the Nursery wanting to ask Deadstar if she could deliver the news to WindClan. But as she entered she knew she had walked into something she shouldn't have. "Deadstar?" "Yes, Ashpelt?" Deadstar mewed turning to his warrior. "May I take the news to WindClan now?" She asked. "Of course," Deadstar meowed. "But bring another warrior with you and tell WindClan that when this happens it would be best for them to come here." Ashpelt was shocked at her leader's kindness to another clan's troubles. She bowed her head to Deadstar and backed out of the den, but Deadstar stopped her with Gingerkit in jaws by her scuff. "Please take Gingerkit to Blackdream she has a fever," he mewed dropping his kit at her paws. Ashpelt nodded and picked up the kit by her scruff. "I'll come check on her in a few."

Whitewing nodded and watched Gingerkit leave. Windkit whimpered smally as she left. Whitewing squished him over to her with her tail. "She's ok Windkit, don't you worry," she said.
