The sleek, silver pelt filtered through the woods, making a game of attempting to stay out of the looming shadows. Opalfang's too slim-for-the-prey-enriched-season appeared to glide over the ground, while her dark eyes scanned the clearing for prey. Finally, after minutes of fruitless searching, she spotted a round mouse sniffling at the leaves scattered carelessly upon the terra. Smiling to herself, the young femme dropped her lithe body to the ground, while slowly dragging herself forward towards the scuffling vermin. Now, she was only three steps away... two... one... than, with muscles rippling smoothly under her short-cropped pelt, she pounced. A purr of satisfaction escaped her finely-defined maw as she realized she had successfully captured her quarry. Opalfang allowed herself one more moment to bask in the glory of her catch, before burying under the supple turf, and than continuing her peaceful hunt.

Ashpelt scented Opalfang hunting not to far away. Maybe she would come with me to WindClan. She tracked the warrior down till she spotted the sleek, sliver pelt of Opalfang. "Would you mind coming with me to WindClan?" Ashpelt asked flicking her tail, "I must deliver some news and Deadstar doesn't want me to go alone."

The long legged she-cat turned her bright gaze to Ashpelt, surprised slightly by the other warriors sudden appearance. Once the other femme requested Opalfang of her assistance, though, the white ThunderClan warrior felt her moods shift into overdrive at the thought of an adventure. With a huge smile, she responded, "Of course I'll go with you. Shall we go now? What do you need to tell them?" All of these questions poured out of her maw, making Oaplfang sound like an overeager, annoying apprentice, yet she paid no heed to it. She was finally getting to do something important! Ashpelt smiled at Opalfang's enthusiasm and mewed gently, "we must warn them of a two-leg attack. StarClan brought the horrid news to me and Blackdream while hunting." Ashpelt looked back to that frightening dream of twolegs running through WindClan camp destroying everything in their path. But luckily there would be no cats around, that is if they got the news in time and they trusted ThunderClan enough to allow them to help. "Let's be going then," Ashpelt headed toward the WindClan boarder.

Opalfang nodded her head, a bit of her enthusiasm gone now that she knew that their mission didn't exactly fall under the category of 'thrilling'. With a slightly calmer voice, she mewed, "Ok, I'm ready too. Let's go." and with that, the pretty, if insensitive and slightly rude, femme bounded ahead of the older warrior, leading the way to the border.

OCC: lol they're the same age! [We'll have to make another thread in WindClan's boarders
Ashpelt kept pace with Opalfang as well as she could, but her short legs did not compare to Opalfang's long spider like limbs. As they raced out of the forest and undergrowth, the moor land of WindClan was clear as water. The gray she-cat stopped at the edge of ThunderClan territory and took a great sniff of the air, wondering how long a WindClan patrol has gone by. "WindClan was here not to long ago," she mewed looking to Opalfang.

<<Oh....lol. Than maybe I meant it mentally mature?? xD>>
The femme turned back to her companion and mimed the other warrior, scenting the air for the tell-tale trail of WindClan hanging upon the air. Sure enough, their was a scent, and a fresh one at that. "Ya, they were just here. Shame we couldn't catch them so we don't have to go into their territory." she mused, eyes narrowed slightly as she thought of their misfortune.

"We would have to go on their land anyway, we must speak with their leader." Ashpelt mewed blankly looking into the moor land. "I don't know where WindClan camp is but, I guess we'll just explore the moor till we are found. Or when we find where WindClan's scent's the strongest." Ashpelt confessed, slowly padding into WindClan for the first time on purpose.
OCC: lol oh I see. Well you start the new thread. =]
